Volunteer, Foster, Adopt - Help Us Save Little Lives in Big Ways!
There are lots of ways to get involved and help at the Tri-Lakes Humane Society. We are always looking for volunteers to help with the daily needs of the animals in our care, or to take some of our pups for walks.
For some of our dogs and cats, the transition from the shelter to a home takes a little longer than we might like. Foster homes are always needed to care for our animals.
We are a non-profit organization and rely on donations but it's not just monetary donations we need. We can use everything from old but clean towels to bags of dog or cat food, or toys for the pups and kitties to play with.
Stop by our location or give us a call to see how you can get involved.

The Tri-Lakes Humane Society’s mission is to provide shelter to all stray and unwanted domestic animals and to find them a loving home as soon as possible. We also work toward educating the public about proper animal care and provide vouchers to those who would not otherwise be able to afford to Spay/Neuter their pets.
We are a non-profit, no kill shelter, so we have many animals looking for the right “forever” home. Located in Saranac Lake, TLHS serves the communities of Tupper Lake, Lake Placid, and Saranac Lake.
